You may not find the correct drivers after spending hours on it. Official drivers are needed as incorrect drivers may cause series of problems. Manually downloading drivers can be risky and time consuming, especially if you are novice in this area. Drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 8 probably are compatible with Windows 10. In this case, you can use a compatible driver for a previous operating system instead (Windows 7 or Windows 8).
Why this isn't happening is the mystery, and why I await the OP as I'm curious as to what they are doing setup wise.Note: For older scanner products, Epson may not provide Windows 10 drivers. The software will then scan for the printer and connect. In fact, when you get to the network (Wi-Fi) setup from the install software for the printer, you will be given the option to setup or tell the software the printer is already on the network.
Anyway, the point here is even if you reinstall the OS, you wouldn't need to re-do the Wi-Fi setup.
